125th Lincolnshire Show 2009
The 125th Lincolnshire Show has now taken place and yet again the Duckworth stand looked amazing.
For 2009 we featured a Volvo Dumper Truck with two Defenders climbing into the tipper back. The entrance of the marquee showed a steel tripod display with two Discoveries and one Freelander clinging on at the most amazing angles, these vehicles had to be carefully craned into place before the show. We also had an Tracked Excavator lifting a Defender and a Range Rover Sport G4 standing on one wheel. We even featured a Bowler Nemesis kindly loaned to us by Bowler.
The agricultural show is staged every June and attracts more than 500 trade stands, 1500 livestock and equine entries and an average of 70,000 visitors. The long established Show enjoys a reputation of being one of the finest county agricultural shows, showcasing the finest Lincolnshire producers and their products as well as a wealth of other regional traders.
Once again we wish to thank D3, ABBA plant, Bowler and Brigg Garden Centre for their invaluable help to make this years stand just as even impressive as before. Sadly we did not win Best stand this year, however we will endeavour to pull all the stops out for 2010, so watch this space.
